Centaur (1981): is challenging table by Jim Patla, who was responsible for many Bally hits and also one of the designers on Elvira and the Party Monsters. The game features a cool fantasy theme with excellent black and white graphics and great audio effects. Accurate players are rewarded with special features that are only activated by completing banks of Drop Targets in sequence. Features unique to Centaur include the blue Guardian Rollovers, which were the first to include Outlane control directed by the flipper buttons and the Equitable Multi-Ball. This forces each player to lock their own balls for Multi-Ball, thereby giving no carry-over advantage from a previous player in Multi-Player games. 3,700 units of this table were produced.
